It's hard to find anything bad said about Michigan football quarterback Bryce Underwood. Some criticized him for flipping from LSU but that's always going to happen in a contentious recruitment.

Regardless of why Underwood signed with Michigan football, the rumblings have been nothing but positive since he arrived on campus. Chip Lindsey, the Wolverines offensive coordinator, praised Underwood on a podcast this week and talked about how humble and driven Underwood was.

Underwood has been praised by defensive coordinator Wink Martindale, Michigan football head coach Sherrone Moore, and even other players such as Davis Warren. People are wowed by his ability and some reporting from On3.com's Steve Wiltfong and Pete Nakos have Underwood as one of the freshmen already "turning heads" in the 2025 class.

On3 released a graphic with some of the impactful freshmen. Underwood's name was at the top of the list. Yet, Wiltfong and Nakos also reported that Michigan feels good about Avery Gach, Andrew Babalola, and wide receiver Andrew Marsh.

The Wolverines could use another threat next season for Underwood or Mikey Keene. Keene is the transfer from Fresno State that people tend to forget about. He's probably the Cade McNamara of this situation, while Underwood is the J.J. McCarthy.

Gach and Babalola are two guys who could make an impact on the offensive line next season, but they will probably just be depth pieces. Still, it's good to hear them names. You always want the top players to look the part when they get on campus.

So far, Underwood has done that and it feels like only a matter of time before he takes over the starting job for Michigan football on a permanent basis.
