New Michigan football OC Chip Lindsey had high praise for the Wolverines new quarterbacks entering the 2025 season on the "In the Trenches" podcast with Jon Jansen.

"Yeah, I think you approach them the same," Lindsey said of all three quarterbacks in spring practice. "I mean, we're going to coach them all the same. Expectations are the same, and the way we go about it, you know, you think about all those three guys. They're, they're all a little, little different from where they are in their career and so forth, but they're all similar in that they want to be really good, and they want to push each other, and they want to compete.

Specifically he had high praise for star Michigan football freshman, Bryce Underwood.

"Bryce, getting to know him has been unbelievable. I mean the guy's as humble and driven as I've seen, and people from the outside may not see that or know that because of all the hype that goes with it. But Jadyn Davis was a five-star recruit as well, but I think the people from outside don't see them every day in the film room grinding on their own, in meetings, and taking notes. They really approach their craft very seriously, and they want to be good and be the best they can be, and that's what you want."

Next, he was asked what he wanted to see in his quarterback room and the Michigan football offensive coordinator talked about how he wanted all of the players to be eager. Essentially, it's a fresh opportunity for everyone and the hope is that the former North Carolina offensive coordinator can bring some stability to a Michigan football offense that struggled mightly to throw the ball.

We'll have to wait and see.
