Michigan football has had a great month on the recruiting trail, something the Wolverines will look to continue in June as official visit season is about to get underway.

One of the players who will visit Michigan football in June, for an official visit, is four-star defensive lineman Seth Tillman, who is from Rock Hill, South Carolina.

Tillman is 6-foot-2, 294 pounds. He's ranked No. 123 overall in the 2027 class, according to the 247 Sports composite rankings. The Wolverines offered in February, but quickly made up ground with the talented pass rusher, who has 24 sacks over the past two seasons.

Tillman isn't just uber productive when it comes to rushing the passer. He had 52 tackles for loss the past two seasons, along with 137 total tackles.

Michigan football was behind the 8-ball with Tillman and others. But Kyle Whittingham has built an impressive recruiting operation, both in terms of the recruiting staff, and the on-field coaches.

Larry Black has proven to be an asset after being hired from Vanderbilt. He's been the primary recruiter with Tillman, and just one reason the Wolverines have gained traction in this recuritment.

Ethan McDowell of Rivals interviewed Tillman and talked to him about Michigan's rise.

"They really, really love football down there at Michigan," Tillman said.

The 6-foot-2, near 300-pound defensive lineman, who is one of the best interior pass rushers in the 2027 class, a valuable asset, took two spring visits to Ann Arbor. A third could be enough to wrap up a commitment in Michigan's favor, although it will take fending off some SEC programs, as well as Clemson.

Tillman visited South Carolina on May 1st. He's taking an official visit to Georgia tihs week, before visiting Michigan football on June 5th, followed by a final visit to Clemson, according to 247 Sports.

Clemson is the favorite via the Rivals Recruiting Prediction Machine, but the Tigers have just a 30 percent chance. Georgia is at 27, followed by South Carolina at 20, and Michigan at 11. There haven't been any projections for Tillman's commitment from Rivals or 247 Sports.

Michigan has made a move. It also just landed Xaiver Muhammad. Getting both would be an elite haul. Tillman would be a perfect fit with the other D-linemen on the roster, and it's clear that the passion of Michigan's staff is rubbing off on him.

That can't be a bad thing.
