The Michigan Wolverines need a win, and not the kind that comes on the field or the court. After yet another coaching scandal, the athletic department in Ann Arbor quite literally needs a break.
As Michigan athletic director Warde Manuel continues the search for Sherrone Moore's replacement, even University President Domenico Grasso has ensured fans and the program itself which kind of candidates they're going after.
"This past week has been a difficult one for the University of Michigan," Grasso said in a video statement released on social media. "We intend to hire an individual who can and will... represent the highest values that our University holds dear."

Well, along with a bunch of fluff about the athletic department and the University acting swiftly to get rid of Moore, Grasso certainly leaned on the importance of morals and ethics for the Wolverines, despite the most recent saga, the Jim Harbaugh scandal, and the Juwan Howard drama.

Simply put, under Manuel, the Michigan athletic department has been filled to the gills with offense after offense, and the program needs to turn the page to the next chapter, or maybe just close the book entirely.
Of course, Manuel is feeling a lot of pressure to hire the "right guy" for the job following the last three scandals under his watch.
