As the saga following Sherrone Moore's firing continues to unfold, it seems like the entire Wolverines athletic department has gotten involved (past, current, and future).
Most recently, Michigan's men's basketball coach, Dusty May, shared his thoughts on the whole debacle:
"There were, obviously, some poor decisions made across the board. It is what it is. Everyone involved is a human being, and every decision impacts other human beings," May said. "And so, I pray for families that are impacted and their lives, and their children are impacted."
Dusty May is focused on his own program
May took over the basketball program after it was run by Juwan Howard for a five-year stint, which had its own share of scandalous moments.
While the football program works through its second scandal in just a handful of years, May is focusing on his team and not setting foot near the mess that is happening on the other side of campus.

"I don’t have the solutions for the world’s problems, but man, if we just all just tried to be better human beings and better world civilians and whatnot," May continued. "I think we’d all have a much greater impact. That’s really about it."
Currently, the Michigan men's basketball team is undefeated at 10-0 and is ranked second in the country. Simply put, May staying out of the spotlight (negatively or positively) has been excellent for the program.

The Wolverines have yet to hire Moore's replacement, and all eyes are on athletic director Warde Manuel as he tries to move past yet another bump in the road during his tenure at Michigan.
While the football team continues to re-find its footing, May and his squad are set to host the La Salle Explorers on Sunday, Dec. 21, at 4 p.m. ET, and the game will be aired on Peacock.
