Every college football program has one weekend a year when they go all out for the largest group of official visits on campus. For Michigan, it is Victors Weekend, which just so happened to be this past weekend. Head coach Kyle Whittingham welcomed over 20 recruits to Ann Arbor, and did so with style.

On Saturday night, after two great days on campus, Michigan hosts a party on the field in the Big House, and Whittingham made sure to impress with his entrance. Whittingham drove onto the field on a motorcycle, but not just any motorcycle, one with the winged Michigan helmet logo on the front.

Whittingham road onto the field and around the entire party, showing off a little bit. This has not been the first time Whittingham has been on a sweet ride this summer, as he got to ride in an IndyCar back in May as he led the race onto the track. Whittingham's entrance onto the field, though, had to have impressed the recruits attending, because what other coach is doing stuff like this?

Michigan's cruicial recruiting weekend comes to a close and now the Wovlerines are on commitment watch

With Victors Weekend wrapping up, now it is time for commit watch. Whittingham welcomed eight uncommitted players to Ann Arbor this weekend, a few players committed to other schools, and a few Michigan commits as well. For those eight uncommitted players, there is hope that Whittingham and Co. did everything that was needed to sway them to Michigan.

Now, it wasn't an entire weekend without some sort of commitment and excitement, just not for the Class of 2027. Instead, Michigan gained a commitment from one of the top specialists in the 2028 recruiting class, kicker Ryan Jung. This was a huge commitment for new special teams coach Kerry Coombs, who is beginning his first season with the Wolverines this year.

However, now it is time to watch for the 2027 commitments that could be coming in the next couple of weeks. Joshua Dobson is one of the biggest commit watches for Michigan, as he set his commitment date for July 1, just over a week away.

Frederrick Ford is another top recruit Michigan is looking for a commitment from. Ford was a late offer for the Wolverines, but he quickly made Michigan a contender in a race filled with SEC schools.

Damani Warren is the third priority target for the Wolverines that Whittingham would love to land. This is yet another race with Texas A&M for a commitment from a 2027 prospect, but Michigan is pushing hard. After losing out on Michigan native Dakota Guerrant, the Wolverines need a commitment from a wide receiver, and Warren comes as a four-star recruit with good size and speed.

Michigan did everything it could this past weekend, rolling out the red carpet. Now it is time to sit back adn wait to see if the seeds Michigan sowed this weekend begin to sprout and bloom into commitments for the Wolverines.
