Official visit season is about to ramp up for Michigan football.

The Wolverines had just one 2027 target on campus this weekend, the first allowed for official visits, but over the next three weekends, 47 2027 recruits will take official visits to Ann Arbor.

All of the commitments in the 2027 class are scheduled to visit. That's about 1/3 of the visitors. Some of those visits might not happen either. Things will change and Michigan will add some recruits to its official visit schedule, too.

But based on where things stand right now, here are three targets for Michigan head coach Kyle Whittingham, who are most likely to commit during official visit season.

4-star OL Lincoln Mageo

Jim Harding has developed a really solid relationship with the four-star interior offensive line target, who is listed at 6-foot-3.5, 285 pounds, according to Rivals, which has him ranked No. 385 overall, out of Oceanside, California.

The Wolverines are battling Washington, Texas, Arizona and Utah for the commitment of the blue-chip offensive lineman, who has official visits scheduled with all four programs.

Yet, Whittingham has done well with recruits in California. Harding is also a selling point. Beyond the strong relationship he's built with Lincoln Mageo, Harding just had two players drafted in the first round of the 2026 NFL draft, adding to an impressive track record of development.

The Rivals Recruiting Prediction Machine gives a 32 percent chance to land his commitment, higher than any other program. Mageo took a four-day unofficial visit this spring. There have been in-home visits, too, including a recent one.

All of these signs point to a Michigan commitment, especially with the way the Wolverines have been able to close on the recruiting trail lately.

4-star DL Seth Tillman

Outside of five-star targets Dakota Guerrant and Joshua Dobson, there might be a bigger target left on the board than four-star defensive lineman Seth Tillman.

The 6-foot-2, 295-pound D-line recruit is from Rock Hill, South Carolina. He's an elite pass rusher, with 24 sacks over the past two seasons. Having someone who, on the interior, can pressure the quarterback is invaluable for a defense; just think of Mason Graham and Kenneth Grant.

The Wolverines have been trending up with Tillman, who has taken an unofficial visit this spring. He's scheduled to be on campus the weekend of June 5th, just like Mageo.

Michigan's coaching staff has impressed Tillman, who talked about how much the coaching staff loves football. That will only be more evident after the official visit. Clemson is the leader via the Rivals Prediction Machine. Georgia isn't far behind.

However, it feels like the Wolverines are near the top of this recruitment. They have Xavier Muhammad already committed, but Tillman would take his D-line haul to the next level.

3-star DB Errol Kearns

Errol Kearns might be the most interesting recruit coming for an official visit. After he committed to Miami Ohio last month, the Wolverines offered. Since then, this recruitment has blown up.

Out of Indianapolis, Kerns is 5-foot-11, 195 pounds. He's ranked No. 738 overall, according to the 247 Sports composite rankings. The dynamic athlete ran the 100-meter dash in 10.78 this spring. He also long jumped over 22 feet. He also had 90 tackles, three interceptions, five pass breakups, four tackles for loss, and three forced fumbles as a junior.

That was enough to get the attention of the blue bloods. Ohio State, Indiana, Texas A&M, Illinois, Kentucky, Wisconsin, and other programs jumped in with offers.

However, Michigan was first. It got him on campus for an unofficial visit and got the evaluation right. We'll see if that matters. The fact that he's from Indiana could give the Hoosiers an edge, but Michigan making him a top priority could make the difference in this recruitment.

Thst's what Michigan football fans to have hope anyway.
