Michigan football has done a stellar job of landing top-100 commitments in the 2025 recruiting class. The Wolverines signed one in the previous two classes but already have four committed in 2025.

Andrew Olesh, Kainoa Winston, Nate Marshall, and Ivan Taylor are all top-100 prospects. Three play defense but Olesh, a four-star tight end, is the latest top-100 pledge.

Michigan football was able to win him over on the last official visit weekend and leading into the recruiting BBQ for Michigan football this weekend, the hope is that the Wolverines can close with recruits like Andrew Marsh, Jerome Myles, and Jayden Sanders. Andrew Babalola too, but he's not expected to visit for the Michigan recruiting BBQ.

Confidence increasing with Andrew Marsh to Michigan football

One who is visiting is Marsh. The 6-foot-2, 175-pound wideout from Katy, Texas is ranked 58th overall in the 2025 class and Michigan is viewed as the leader. Both crystal ball projections are in favor of the Wolverines, while the On3 prediction machine also favors Michigan football and gives U-M an 86 percent chance of landing his commitment.

According to EJ Holland of The Wolverine, Washington and Kentucky are two teams to watch. However, Holland, who projected Marsh to Michigan football already, upped his confidence to 75/100 from 60/100.

That's a good sign for Michigan football heading into the weekend. The Wolverines are also trending up with Myles, another top-100 wideout and they are also in a battle with Stanford for the commitment of five-star offensive tackle Andrew Babalola.

But getting Marsh out of Texas would be huge. The Wolverines have put a lot of effort into this recruitment and it would be huge if they could close this weekend, especially with LSU sniffing around and trying to flip 2025 wideout Phillip Wright.
