The momentum continues to build for Michigan football on the recruiting and it's not slowing down ahead of the final official visit weekend of June.

Michigan football calls it "Victors Weekend" and it's always one of the most important recruiting weekends of the year for the Wolverines. This year, it's no different but the positive trends have started even before recruits have gotten to campus.

Earlier this week, Michigan football started trending as the favorite to land four-star offensive lineman Hardy Watts who is out of Brookline, Massachusetts. The 6-foot-6, 300-pounder could play right tackle or on the interior but he's ranked No. 217 overall in the 2025 class according to the 247 Sports composite rankings.

Clemson had momentum for a moment, but the Wolverines seized it back and will hope to close this weekend. They will also be aiming to close with another top target -- three-star linebacker Chase Taylor.

Another new crystal ball for Michigan football

Taylor is out of Stockbridge, Georgia. He's ranked No. 571 overall in the 247 Sports composite rankings for the 2025 class and the 6-foot-3, 210-pounder has received a crystal ball projection to Michigan football from Steve Lorenz of The Michigan Insider.

Georgia Tech and South Carolina are among the other programs listed as "warm" for Taylor, but he also took an official visit to USC. Taylor was also offered recently by LSU in addition to Clemson and North Carolina making offers back in February. Florida State, Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi State, and Vanderbilt have also extended offers.

Yet, Taylor has built a solid relationship with linebackers coach Brian Jean-Mary and the Wolverines are trending as the favorite to add the linebacker from SEC country to their 2025 haul. Taylor will take an official visit to Ann Arbor this weekend.
