If anyone doubted whether former Michigan football head coach Jim Harbaugh would instantly turn around the Los Angeles Chargers, well, then you don't know Harbaugh.

Turning losing football teams into winners is what he does and the Chargers are looking dangerous after a 26-3 win over Carolina. To be fair, the Panthers are probably the worst team in football. But the Chargers are pounding the rock with former Buckeye JK Dobbins, playing great defense, and using the exact brand of football Michigan just used to win a national title.

I'm happy for Harbaugh. But it's still a bummer not to see him coaching the Michigan football program. That was a golden era and we are starting to see the ramifications of him being gone.

Former Michigan football wideout Nico Collins dominates again

Sunday was an incredible day for former Michigan football players. Aidan Hutchinson notched 4.5 sacks and some others shined as well.

But Nico Collins stole the show on Sunday night football in a 19-10 win over the Chicago Bears by the Houston Texans. Collins caught a 28-yard touchdown, his first of the season, and finished with the game with eight receptions for 135 yards.

In two games this season, Collins has 14 receptions for 252 yards. It's been incredible to watch his development and makes you wonder what he could have been with the Michigan football team if the Wolverines actually threw the ball more.

Michigan football rankings updates after Week 3

Despite winning its second game of the season, Michigan football dropped a spot in the latest AP poll. The Wolverines are now ranked 19th. USC, their opponent for Saturday, is ranked 11th at 3-0.

Michigan also dropped a spot in the Coaches poll going from 16th last week to 17th. USC is ranked 12th in that poll.
