Another top-100 wideout to visit Michigan football for recruiting BBQ
Buckle up, Michigan football fans, it looks there could be plenty more activity on the recruiting trail for the 2025 class.
The Wolverines picked up the commitment of three-star wideout Phillip Wright over the weekend. The ranking might not be that exciting, but the player is. Wright runs a sub 10.6 in the 100-meter dash and could be a mixture of Roman Wilson/Semaj Morgan.
LSU pushed for his commitment late and could keep recruiting him until he actually signs with Michigan football. As I have said too, if you're beating out Georgia, Alabama, LSU, Florida, and other SEC programs for commitments, you're doing something right.
Now, Michigan football, which has 16 commitments, is looking to add to that total. Four-star wideout Andrew Marsh, a top-100 wideout in the 2025 class according to the 247 Sports composite rankings, will visit for the recruiting BBQ at the end of July and he won't be the only top-100 prospect to do so.
Jerome Myles, who decommitted from Ole Miss recently, is expected to be on campus for the Michigan football recruiting BBQ according to Steve Wiltfong of On3.com.
Another elite wideout visiting Michigan football
Myles is 6-foot-2, 205 pound and ranked 76th overall in the 2025 class according to the 247 Sports composite rankings. He's out of Utah and Michigan has found success with players from the West.
Utah is the favorite right now according to the On3 prediction machine. The Utes hosted Myles for an official visit as did Texas A&M. However, Michigan, LSU, and Penn State were all mentioned by Myles as teams of interest in his interview with Wiltfong.
The four-star wideout also said Michigan football is pushing for an official visit in the fall and if that happens, I'd feel pretty good about the Wolverines chances.
