It feels like we keep saying this on repeat, but there is more good news coming for Michigan football on the recruiting trail.
After landing the 13th commitment of the 2026 class on Monday, with a massive commitment from Titan Davis, a 6-foot-4, 270-pound defensive lineman ranked No. 101 overall, beating out Alabama in a head-to-head battle, Michigan football has been projected to land two more recruits.
Dorian Barney, a four-star cornerback from Georgia, was projected to the Wolverines by Sam Webb of The Michigan Insider on Monday, followed by a crystal ball projection for Michigan to land four-star receiver Zion Robinson, too.
Barney, a 6-foot-1, 180-pound cornerback is ranked No. 148 overall in the 2026 class, according to the 247 Sports composite rankings. Robinson, who is 6-foot-3, 180 pounds, is ranked No. 132 via the same rankings.
Sherrone Moore teases more Michigan football commitments

Robinson has also announced a commitment date on Wednesday at 12:30. Not long after that, Michigan football head coach Sherrone Moore posted on X, "YES SIR" along with the eyeball emojis and #GoBlue.

That's what Moore posts when Michigan has landed a commitment. Soon after, Moore posted again, this time with two eyeball emojis and a caption of, "YES SIRRR."
That leads one to believe that Michigan has secured two commitments on Tuesday. Robinson is a good bet. The other could be Barney, although there are some other possibilities too.
Either way, Michigan football is scorching hot on the recruiting trail right now. They are also trending to flip a three-star Markel Dabney, who is committed to SMU, as well as trending to land four-star wide receiver Travis Johnson.
Michigan is also in the thick of it with elite prospects such as Carter Meadows, Savion Hiter, Calvin Russell, and others. Soon, the Wolverines will start running out of spots. But this 2026 recruiting class is starting to feel a lot like the top-10 class Michigan just signed in 2025.
