It was a wild Early National Signing Day for Michigan football, but at the end of it, the Wolverines still have some unsigned recruits, but none that have flipped, yet.

There are three recruits who still haven't signed at the end of Early National Signing Day: Five-star running back Savion Hiter, four-star EDGE Julian Walker, and four-star WR Zion Robinson.

Walker was one recruit to watch coming into Early Signing Day. He just visited Ann Arbor for the Ohio State game, but his dad is an assistant strength coach for South Carolina. The Gamecocks have been making a push to flip him. North Carolina also joined the mix on Wednesday.

Walker is expected to announce his decision at some point on Thursday. None of the experts has changed their predictions. Walker is ranked 96th overall in the 2026 class, according to the 247 Sports composite rankings. He is Michigan's third-highest-ranked recruit for now.

Robinson, a 6-foot-4 wide receiver from Texas, is ranked No. 182 overall. Some other programs have tried to flip him, although if things come down to NIL, Michigan football should be in a good spot. Texas and Stanford are teams rumoed to be in the mix for Robinson.

The good news is that Travis Johnson signed. He's another critical prospect, and the 6-foot-3 wideout from Virginia, has a chance to play right away. Johnson is ranked No. 107 overall.

Michigan football sign prized five-star recruit on Thursday

However, after Michigan football fans got nervous about Savion Hiter, the five-star running back ranked eighth overall in the 2026 class, those fears have been calmed. Hiter hasn't signed yet, but some details needed to be hammered out with his NIL deal. He is expected to sign Thursday morning, according to EJ Holland of The Wolverine.

Holland talked directly to Hiter's father. Outside of Johnson, that was the most important, followed by Walker, at least in my eyes. That's especially true since there appears to be a chance that Michigan football flips four-star wideout Brady Marchese (via Rivals). He's a Georgia commitment who hasn't signed but has been in touch with Michigan. His decision is expected on Thursday.

Swiping him from Georgia's class would make it easier to lose Robinson's commitment, so it might be a win-win. Regardless, as worrisome as things looked at times, Michigan hasn't lost a commitment yet, and it might not.
