Dakota Guerrant is arguably the biggest target for the Wolverines in the 2027 class. He's an elite in-state athlete that Kylie Whittingham needs to lock down.
And the relationship between the prospect and the guy aiming to be his future head coach looks promising, especially after Whittingham got the Detroit-area player to flash the 'M' during a picture.

The recruiting battle for Guerrant is real and it's nationwide. Several top programs are in the picture, including Oregon, Texas A&M, Miami and... Ohio State. So it's important for Whittingham to make the most of these opportunities when he has the Guerrant on campus. Guerrant is expected to visit more schools over the next couple of weeks with stops at College Station and Miami on the schedule. Oregon will also get a visit in April. Both the Wolverines and the Ducks have official visits with Guerrant on the docket. He'll take the official to Eugene on June 5 and then to Ann Arbor on June 19.
Guerrant is a multi-faceted athlete that could fill holes in any one of several positions, but he is being projected as a wide receiver and Michigan could definitely use some playmakers on the outside.
Taylor Lewan wants Dakota Guerrant in Ann Arbor
Guerrant is a coveted recruit by the Wolverines fanbase, but even some of the more famous Michigan alum are willing to step up and see what it takes to get this five-star athlete in the maize and blue.
Lemme know what we gotta do to get the job done Dakota.

I’ll personally make sure this gets done.
Go Blue
Lewan can definitely make things happen and maybe there's some Bussin' With the Boys NIL opportunities since the podcast signed on to be exclusive to Netflix.
Michigan is starting to turn up the juice with recruiting this week with commitments from four-star defensive back Darrell Mattison and three-star athlete Maxwell Miles over the past two days. Expect much more good news to come as the spring continues.
