Michigan will win in the trenches

There has been some talk about bad weather at the game and with that, we will see what happens, but even if the rain is pouring as it did in 2017, it shouldn’t matter for Michigan football.

The Wolverines have a bruising running game and even though it’s ranked in the middle of the road in the Big Ten, part of that has to do with the awful showing against Wisconsin.

Ever since the Illinois game, the running game has gone off. It has given the offense an identity. Zach Charbonnet, Hassan Haskins and the offensive line. Those might be the best offensive weapons the Wolverines have.

On the other side of the ball, the front seven has been dominating in recent weeks. It completely shut down Notre Dame in a performance that reminded of last season’s win over Michigan State, when the Spartans got fewer than 100 total yards.
