Ohio State might still have the best QB

A big reason why Ohio State has consistently won this game the past two decades is that more often than not, the Buckeyes have had the better quarterback.

Troy Smith tormented Michigan for years. So did J.T. Barrett, Braxton Miller and Terrelle Pryor. We all know the names and at the same time, Michigan had some good quarterbacks such as Chad Henne and Robinson. The Wolverines have also had some that weren’t so great like Devin Gardner, Wilton Speight and John O’Korn.

This time around, Shea Patterson represents the best quarterback Michigan has had in quite some time. However, it’s hard to say he’s better than Dwayne Haskins. Haskins helped Ohio State win last year at the Big House in relief of Barrett and he leads the Big Ten in passing yards. He also has 36 touchdown passes.

The Michigan defense might make it tough on Haskins and that is what Wolverines fans have to hope for because if Haskins outplays Patterson, Ohio State might just pull off the upset.
