Even some really good Michigan teams have lost at Ohio State

There is no doubt that this Michigan football team is about as good as any since the National Championship team in 1997. The Wolverines are 8-0 in the Big Ten and have won 10 straight games, with three wins over ranked teams.

But in Columbus, even some very good Michigan teams have come up short. During the Wolverines eight-game losing streak in Columbus, they have gone into Ohio Stadium as a top-10 team three times and ranked in the top-12 four times. Michigan also went into the Ohio State game with perfect conference records in 1998, 2004 and 2006, only to lose it to the Buckeyes.

There have been some painful defeats over the years and in order to avoid that this season, Michigan needs to exercise some demons.

One thing this team has is an incredible defense and if it truly is legendary, it can help carry this team to a win at the Horseshoe.
