Michigan Football: 5 predictions for the Wolverines 2018 season
Karan Higdon has a true breakout season
Outside of Patterson, there is no player I want to see more on offense than Karan Higdon, who has bulked up this offseason and looks healthy again after struggling with injuries down the stretch.
Higdon came up six yards short of 1,000 last year but in 2018, I think he will get somewhere in the range of 1,200 – 1,500 yards. One of the things that will hurt his overall production is that Chris Evans is also poised for a big year. If that wasn’t the case, I’d expect more production.
But Higdon is a workhorse and Harbaugh likes to ride the hot hand. With Patterson taking some pressure off the running game and the offensive line seemingly improved, Higdon seems poised for an All-Conference kind of season.
He’s going to be running in the NFL next season and I have no doubt, he will have the best season this year of any back since Mike Hart.
