Actions have consequences, which is something that Utah is starting to learn after allowing Kyle Whittingham to leave to become Michigan football head coach.
Lots of Utah fans have lamented that if Sherrone Moore didn't do what he did, the Utes wouldn't have lost some key players and assistant coaches, who have followed Whittingham to Ann Arbor, after Utah decided it wanted to go with head-coach-in-waiting Morgan Scalley.
If that decision wasn't made, none of this would have happened. Michigan football would have needed to find another head coach. But Utah forced out Whittingham, and the Wolverines pounced.
As such, the former Utah head coach is doing everything he can to help Michigan football win, that's what he's paid to do. That includes building a championship-caliber roster and coaching staff.
On that front, the Wolverines have been working to flip Utah signee Salesi Moa. His brother, Aisea Moa, visited Michigan last week. The former BYU/Michigan State linebacker is expected to sign with the Wolverines, which helped the Wolverines in their efforts to land his brother.
Salesi Moa is someone that Michigan recruited hard. He was on campus for visits. Utah won out, but Moa is expected to flip to the Wolverines with an announcement set for Friday afternoon.

Well, as it turns out, Utah athletic director Mark Harlan isn't happy. He expressed that with a post on X.
"Well, he was is claqss for a (last) week. Public announcement...seen it all now (probably not)," Harlan wrote.
It's not a great look for the Utah AD to call out what is expected to be a former Utah signee. The head coach, position coach, and offensive coordinator, who recruited the kid, along with his brother, are all expected to be at Michigan. His following along doesn't seem all that crazy.
Moa is ranked as the 23rd-best player available in the portal via Rivals. The true freshman was also ranked as the top athlete.
