The Michigan football dynasty is coming... Is College Football Ready?

With Sherrone Moore beginning his time in a head coach role, Bryce Underwood's arrival is a program-altering move. A Blue-chip quarterback of massive potential, Underwood is more than a recruit - he's a cornerstone that Moore can build a dynasty around. The union of Underwood's potential and Moore's system of coaching can unlock a new era of college football's golden age.

When you're building a dynasty, you need to start it on a foundation, and that foundation must be a coach's vision. Michigan football head coach Sherrone Moore's already indicated that he's interested in making a winning culture and that he demands hard work, discipline, and toughness. With Bryce Underwood at the helm, that's going to filter on down to the team. His work ethic and competitive nature are going to get his teammates to be their best, creating a culture of excellence.

Underwood has a distinct set of tools that enable him to be the formula for a team leader of a championship program. The vision he has to decode defense coupled with athleticism and a strong arm presents the potential for a dynamic, imaginative offense. Moore needs to get the most out of these positives by crafting a playbook that plays to Underwood's strengths. In that way, he can build a juggernaut of an offense that's the trademark of the program.

One part of making a dynasty is surrounding your best player with talent. That's exactly what Michigan football has done with Andrew Babalola and Ty Haywood. These are players that will be on the team for nearly half a decade, and that can surround Bryce with protection and confidence. Like I've said before, the best players in America want to play with the best players in America.

What Sherrone established in year one was a sign of things to come. Beating Ohio State and Alabama was the turning point of the season that will provide confidence going into next year. All it takes is a couple more wins and Michigan football will be in the playoffs. With a schedule that resembles one of a MAC team, it's safe to say that the only way Michigan doesn't make it is if they get in their own way.

Michigan football's dynasty starts with Bryce Underwood

The start of this dynasty begins with Bryce Underwood, but it must move on. Another elite QB will see the vision of Moore and what he is building. They'll see he's not playing Big Ten bully ball but instead creating a passing attack not seen since LSU in 2019. I believe the Quarterback to replace Underwood in succession will be 2027 QB target Trae Taylor. He's shown great interest in the Wolverines the couple of times I've spoken with him. He's a future 5-Star and would carry on the tradition like no other.

But this is just the start of the dynasty, the mere beginnings of something truly special. I believe that Sherrone Moore has the NIL, tradition, and most importantly coaching know-how to build one. The question isn't whether or not a dynasty is coming, no. It's whether College Football is ready for it.
