Michigan football landed a huge commitment on Tuesday as four-star quarterback Brady Hart announced his pledge to the Wolverines.

There were a bunch of other schools involved, but Ohio State offered on Monday after Hart, a 6-foot-4, 180-pound quarterback, camped in Columbus.

That was worrisome for Michigan football fans. It was clear that Ohio State wanted Hart, but looking back at the picture he used to post the offer on social media, it's clear he was a Wolverine commitment all the way.

Hart explained part of the reason why: because there is no other place like Michigan. Hart, the No. 92 overall prospect in the 2026 class, as well as No. 7 among quarterbacks, told EJ Holland of The Wolverine that in terms of culture, there is no comparison between Michigan and Ohio State.

"When I walked out of Ohio State, I realized the culture that Michigan has isn’t everywhere. There is not a place like Michigan..." Hart said.

The thought was the Hart was a Notre Dame lean before the Irish took Noah Grubbs. After that, Hart was projected to Clemson by a couple of recruting experts. However, a multi-day visit to Michigan football last weekend turned the tide in the Wolverines favor.

By Monday, the Wolverines were trending as the favorite for Hart, who has drawn comparisons to J.J. McCarthy, and on Tuesday, Michigan football got its second top-100 commitment in a week.

U-M still has to get Hart and the other recent commitments to signing day, but the recruiting bump we all expected under Sherrone Moore has arrived and it's a beautiful thing.
