It should be a good day for Michigan football on the recruiting trail as elite wideout, Andrew Marsh, is expected to commit to the Michigan Wolverines on Tuesday night at 7 PM EST.

That time is approximate. But the trends have all been in favor of Michigan football. Steve Wiltfong put in an expert projection soon after Marsh took an official visit to Michigan and he said this week that he still feels good about where the Wolverines stand.

The 6-foot-1, 175-pound receiver out of Katy, Texas, is ranked 63rd overall in the 2025 class according to the 247 Sports composite rankings. He's ranked ninth among wide receivers and his commitment would give the Michigan Wolverines five top-100 commitments in the 2025 class.

Marsh would be the second offensive playmaker ranked in the top 100 in the class to commit. Andrew Olesh, a four-star tight end, also committed earlier this summer. Carter Smith, a four-star QB committed to Michigan football, is also ranked in the top 200 overall.

Another bowl projection has Michigan football missing the College Football Playoff

Brett McMurphy of the Action Network released his preseason bowl projection on Monday and he's got the Michigan Wolverines playing in the Outback Bowl.

CBS Sports also projected Michigan football to miss the College Football Playoff. However, another analyst for 247 Sports, Clint Brewster, posted that if Michigan can find an effective passing attack with Alex Orji, he could see them winning the national title again.

3 Michigan Wolverines named first-team All-American by AP

The AP released its All-American team for the 2024 season on Monday and three Michigan football players made the first team.

On offense, tight end Colston Loveland was the only Michigan Wolverines player to earn First-Team All-American honors. Will Johnson and Mason Graham were also selected on defense.
