One analyst thinks Michigan football can 'win it all' under one condition
The more people examine the Michigan football team going into the 2024 season, the more people are realizing that the drop off has been exaggerated.
There are still question marks. The biggest one is at quarterback. But outside of that, Michigan football doesn't have many concerns.
The running game should be elite. The offensive line will be nasty and the defense might be as good as there is in college football. I know the defensive line will be as good as any in college football and if you dominant in the trenches, you always have a chance.
Especially when you have playmakers like Michigan football has. Donovan Edwards is going to have a breakout season, plus you have Colston Loveland, Will Johnson, Mason Graham, Kenneth Grant, and others such as Tyler Morris and Semaj Morgan ready to break out too.
The passing game in general is the big question mark facing Michigan football this season. But if the Wolverines can find quality quarterback play, especially from Alex Orji, well, one college football analyst thinks that U-M could go back-to-back.
"If Michigan is able to create consistency in the passing (game) with Alex Orji this year, I think they will win it all again," 247 Sports college football analyst Clint Brewster wrote on Monday night.
However, Bud Elliott, the creator of the blue-chip ratio, quoted the post and said, "1,00000 percent agree."
Of course, Orji still has to produce and has to prove he can pass the ball. But if he can, combined with what he can do as a runner, the offense will be dangerous and if the offense is something to worry about, this team can absolutely contend to win another national championship.
