Michigan football QB commit Brady Hart continues to play like a 5-star

By the time Michigan football signs 2026 quarterback commitment Brady Hart, he could be a five-star prospect and nothing he has done so far this season has changed my mind on that.

In fact, he's only reinforced it.

After throwing five first-half touchdown passes during the first game of the season, which was a 70-0 win for Cocoa, Florida, Hart followed that up with another stellar performance on Friday night.

Another near-perfect performance

This time, the 6-foot-4 quarterback who is ranked in the top 100 overall of the 2026 recruiting class, completed 15-of-18 passes for 270 yards and three touchdowns. The Michigan football commitment now has eight touchdowns in two games compared to zero interceptions.

Hart's team also won 42-7. Last year, he led Cocoa to a state championship and through two weeks, they have outscored opponents 112-7.

Hart is ranked seventh among quarterbacks and 93rd overall in the 2026 class. But there's a reason so many have compared him to J.J. McCarthy. He's a different player but he's got a special arm. Hart can make all the throws and is extremely accurate.

So even if Michigan hasn't recruited quite as well as some would like, at least according to the rankings at quarterback and other positions, as you can see, Michigan football is just fine.
