Michigan football national championship 'Not tainted, not even close to an asterisk'

Michigan football rivals want every win of the past three years vacated but that's just because they can't deal with the Wolverines dominance.

There is a lot of noise out there Michigan football fans. Plenty of people will try to make you believe that the "Hammer" is coming and that the NCAA will vacate Michigan's national title.

For starters, that's beyond ridiculous. The President of the NCAA said Michigan football won the national championship "fair and square" and anyone with a brain realizes that.

Maybe if all this had come out after the season, there would be some questions. But this came out after game six. And let's be clear, Michigan could have started 6-0 playing its backups last season and didn't need to use any stolen signs.

The last six games, Michigan football didn't have its sign stealer. The other teams also knew their signals were vulnerable, so there was no advantage. In fact, Michigan was put at a huge disadvantage when the best head coach in college football was suspended, needlessly, for three games including two top-10 matchups.

Michigan football proved itself on the field

Michigan won both games and controlled both games. There is nothing tainted about that. No asterisk is needed as Joel Klatt said this week on the "Joel Klatt Show" that "The 2023 National Championship is not even close to tainted. It's not even close to an asterisk."

Michigan football beat five top-15 in six games. Four of those wins were on the road or a neutral field and the Wolverines trailed in just two of the games for about a quarter total. That's domination and had nothing to do with Connor Stalions because he wasn't there.

Ryan Day did an interview before 'The Game' and implied that Michigan football won the previous two games because of sign-stealing, then lost to Michigan when the Wolverines didn't have their head coach or sign stealer.

Yet, still, Ohio State fans argue it was tainted. Ohio State even admitted Michigan had its signs before 2022 and the Buckeyes still lost. So, I'm sorry Buckeye fans, I know this hurts, but it wasn't about the signs.

This whole thing is beyond pathetic and shows how soft the Ohio State fanbase is. Instead of accepting that their team got their asses kicked three straight years, they have to latch on to some conspiracy because their program can't block or tackle as well as Michigan.

People can believe whatever they need to in order to make it through the day, but anyone living in reality knows Michigan football won the national title fair and square.
