It's been a good week for Michigan football on the recruiting trail and more good news could be on the way for the Wolverines. It might not be this week but according to some recruiting experts, more commitments are on the way.

Michigan football landed two blue-chip commitments on Monday, which included flipping four-star safety Ivan Taylor from Notre Dame. The Wolverines could be closing in on another defensive back as Michigan football has become the favorite for cornerback Jayden Sanders.

Sanders is out of Kilgore, Texas and is ranked No. 317 overall according to the 247 Sports composite rankings. There aren't any crystal ball predictions yet for Sanders, but after the cornerback confirmed an official visit for the Michigan football recruiting BBQ later this month, the Wolverines got an expert projection from EJ Holland of The Wolverine.

Justin Wells, another recruiting expert for On3 who covers Texas, also projected Michigan football to land the blue-chip defensive back. Sanders is a TCU legacy and the Horned Frogs are another contender but it feels like the BBQ will be a chance to close this recruitment and the On3 prediction machine gives U-M a 93-percent chance to win Sanders' commitment.

Elite wideout projected to Michigan football again

That would be the 14th blue-chipper in the 2025 class, however, that wasn't the only new expert projection on Wednesday. Brice Marich of The Michigan Insider also projected top-100 wideout Andrew Marsh to commit to the Wolverines.

Marsh is expected to visit for the recruiting BBQ in late July too and with a decision to come in August, the Wolverines are the strong favorite. Kentucky and Washington are also in the mix but the Wolverines feel like the team to beat.
