Brady Hart didn't waste anytime as he has chosen to be a Wolverine. He's next in line after Jadyn Davis and continues this sweltering heater that the program has been on in recruiting. Michigan football hasn't seen a run like this at the quarterback position since arguably Chad Henne to Ryan Mallett and we all know how that panned out.

He may remind some of the John Navarre days or the Elvis Grbac's of the world with his size and arm strength. Hart also has similar traits to Mallett and perhaps he'll get to do what Mallett was on pace for before he transferred out because of the coaching change.

Not only does Hart have the quintessential name, but he is a statuesque prototype for the position. He's built like very few are, but also doesn't possess the mobility that many others do these days. His arm, on the other hand, is like a rocket launcher, the way he effortlessly slings it all over the field.

He'll have a chance to be the number one overall pick once all is said and done at Michigan football, but can he duplicate the success that J.J. McCarthy accomplished? The bar has been raised for all that will follow him now. Nonetheless, he'll have to do so in a growing Big Ten and an expanded playoff that Michigan didn't have to deal with either.

There's no question that Hart will have seismic expectations, but the pressure of winning it all won't be as heavy on him because that has been taken care of by team 144. He will follow in the footsteps of Davis and may have to sit and learn for a year assuming everything materializes as planned.

This pickup should be celebrated as the biggest get for Kirk Campbell and will heighten his chances at being a head coach someday. Hart is closer to McCarthy then Davis when it comes to the rankings by the services. This could also lead to some big time recruits to follow suit and join him in Ann Arbor. Some have already taken notice on twitter. The only bad part about it is that we'll have to wait two years to see him grace a maize and blue uniform.

Michigan football head coach Sherrone Moore is climbing the ladder fast and in due time will have a top 20 class, that may sneak into the top 10 if he can reel in some big fish who are still uncommitted. Moore doesn't have to focus on the position until 2028 for a starter. Carter Smith can be like Alex Orji is currently and be a safety net in case something goes wrong with Davis or Hart.

Will this be enough to land five stars Andrew Babalola to protect him or Derek Meadows to throw to? The yearly social media panic that was created by some about not being able to recruit coming off a championship is dying off. Michigan football is building a heavyweight class on the defensive side in 2025 and has its star for 2026 in the fold.
