Now that Sherrone Moore has the Michigan football coaching staff finalized, or just about finalized, the Wolverines should start getting more traction on the recruiting trail.

College football is in a recruiting dead period right now, so coaches are limited in their communication with recruits, but I'd expect things to pick up next month.

Recruits can start taking visits again on March 4th and it will be interesting to see who Michigan football gets on campus.

4-star OT will visit Michigan football

One 2025 recruit who will visit is four-star offensive tackle Jack Lange. The 6-foot-8, 275-pounder out of Eureka, Missouri is ranked 154th overall according to the 247 Sports composite rankings. He's also 14th among offensive tackles.

Lange released a list of top six teams last Friday and Michigan football made the cut along with Notre Dame, Nebraska, Missouri, Ole Miss, and Wisconsin.

Lange has a couple of crystal ball projections to land with Notre Dame right now but those were from January. Michigan will have a shot to turn things around and they should be an attractive program for any offensive line recruit.

Michigan football could have six offensive linemen drafted or signed with NFL teams following the 2024 NFL draft. The Wolverines are also committed to running the ball and with a former offensive lineman and offensive line coach, now as the head coach, Michigan will continue to smash.

So even though Notre Dame is the favorite right now, this feels like a recruitment where Michigan could make some headway and now that Moore has his footing as the head coach, it will be interesting to see if the Wolverines can create any movement.
