3. Lineup Alex Orji at running back

Assuming Jack Tuttle, Davis Warren or Jadyn Davis is at quarterback for Michigan football, then why not try Orji as the primary running back? He's basically done this before while lining up at quarterback, but this time the offense can have the option to throw it as well. Orji would most likely be a running back in the NFL anyway.

Out of the three possibilities this may be the most realistic one because it has happened before. The only difference this time would be that Orji will have to pass it every now and then. It can also give reps to the others gunslingers who are vying for the job too. You would have to think that it would be most beneficial for Davis, especially whenever he is ready to go full throttle.

With Orji and Edwards, or anyone else in the backfield at the same time, the opposition won't be able to key on one figure. Over the last three years, we have seen some trick plays and formations and this year should be no different. Coach Sherrone Moore and Campbell have no reason to become stagnant without J.J. McCarthy at their convenience.
