Ohio State fans are wrong again

Not only have Ohio State fans been screaming that the NCAA is going to drop "the hammer" on the Wolverines for their alleged sign-stealing, but there is no indication that's going to happen. The latest reports suggest the exact opposite and I still challenge a single Ohio State fan to show exactly what rule Connor Stalions is supposed to have broken.

Beyond that, Ohio State fans have been using this investigation as a reason for Michigan football not getting recruits. They have actually been posting things like, "recruits are scared off because they know the hammer is coming."

That's paraphrasing but it's pretty close to what some Ohio State fans have said. Yet, with Michigan landing five commitments in the past two weeks — four blue chips, and two ranked in the top 100, including a quarterback who was just offered by Ohio State the same day he committed to Michigan — that narrative falls apart.

It has to be tough for Ohio State fans. They watched Michigan beat the Buckeyes three years in a row and win a national championship. On top of that, they have been clinging to their recruiting wins and the hope that the NCAA would drop "the hammer."

Now, they are losing grips on those "wins" too.
