Once again, the Michigan Wolverines and the Ohio State Buckeyes find themselves on a crash course in rivalry week, and the hatred is as white hot as ever.

As shade is thrown in one direction and the other, former players are far from scared to chip in their two cents about their collegiate rivals, including old Buckeyes giving the current Wolverines the perfect motivation they need to pull off the upset.

Recently, Ted Ginn Jr., a former All-American wide receiver for Ohio State, felt the need to make his voice heard, despite not playing a snap of collegiate football in nearly two decades.

Former Buckeyes throw uncalled for shade at Wolverines

Yes, Ohio State is the No. 1 team in the country, but Michigan is an extremely solid squad, earning a 9-2 overall record and the perfect opportunity to cause chaos in the rankings.

"From the Ville… To The Ohio State. This is why we came. TTUN.. [good luck] on the game plan," Ginn wrote on X, tagging his former Ohio State quarterback Troy Smith. "Ain't no stopping [Arvell Reese]!!!

While Ginn was 3-0 against Michigan when he was playing for the Buckeyes, it has been a long time since Ohio State could list him on its roster, and currently, the Wolverines are the team on a hot streak when it comes to the rivalry.

Reese, of course, is a linebacker for the Buckeyes this season, and is a native of the state of Ohio, growing up in Cleveland. Ginn's message on social media was all the motivation that the Wolverines could ask for ahead of The Game.

Not only did Ginn refer to Michigan as That Team Up North (TTUN), but he said there's no stopping the veteran linebacker on the Buckeyes' roster, pointing a direct threat at Michigan's true freshman quarterback, Bryce Underwood.

The hate will undoubtedly continue as the game flies into focus, with kick-off just a few days away, and it will undeniably come from both sides, but with a four-game winning streak in their back pocket, the Wolverines arguably have the much better leg to stand on.
