If you were making an offensive lineman, one trait that you'd want them to have is aggression, which won't be a problem for the latest Michigan football commitment.

That is four-star offensive tackle Sidney Rouleau, who added to the exictement of Michigan fans, committing shortly after the Wolverines wrapped up a berth in the Final Four.

According to Brice Marich of The Michigan Insider, a blue-chip recruit out of Texas, who just visited Michigan football this past weekend, is 6-foot-7, 270 pounds. Out of Bullard, Texas, Rouleau is ranked 377th overall, according to the 247 Sports composite rankings.

In an interview with Marich, he explained why he thinks Michigan will be a good fit, and what Wolverines can expect from their newest O-line commit.

Michigan's "aggressive" new O-line commit

"I committed because they have check all my boxes and it feels like home too," Rouleau told The Michigan Insider. "I just can't wait to be committed to Michigan especially with the new staff and I'm ready to be done with recruiting. Coach Harding was surprised (when I told him I was committing), but also happy and excited. It feels great knowing that I will be surrounded with great people and a great football coach and a successful future."

Rouleau told Marich he is "aggressive" and "intense." He also talked about his leadership skills. He committed to Michigan despite an impressive offer list that includes Clemson, Florida, Miami, Nebraska, Texas, Tennessee, Washington, and Wisconsin.

This is the third commitment in the past week for Michigan. It's also the first for O-line coach Jim Harding, the former Utah assistant, who followed Kyle Whittingham from Utah. Two of his former players are about to be selected in the first round of the 2026 NFL draft, so it's not surprising to see him get on the board with a four-star commitment.
