March has been very generous to the Michigan Wolverines. Across the board, Michigan teams are exceeding expectations and making the university proud. On Sunday, the Michigan Men's Basketball team destroyed Tennessee to advance to the Final Four. The Wolverines are set to face off against Arizona in a game that features the #1 and #2 teams on Kenpom (Michigan is #1).

Just a few hours after the Men's Basketball team punched its ticket to the Final Four, the Michigan Men's Hockey team punched theirs. The Wolverines survived a furious comeback attempt by Minnesota-Duluth and are heading to Las Vegas for the Frozen Four, where they will face off against Denver on April 9th.

Having both of those programs in the final four of their respective sports is crazy. What could make it even crazier is if the Women's Basketball team can defeat Texas in the Elite Eight. The Wolverines face off against the first-seeded Longhorns at 7 pm EST on Monday. I'm not sure if any university has ever made the Final Four in all three sports in the same year, but Michigan will have a shot at doing so.

Lastly, it's tough to talk about the state of Michigan Athletics without talking about the football program. Kyle Whittingham appears to be bringing Michigan back to its glory, and the Wolverines have made some serious progress. On Sunday, Michigan football landed a commitment from four-star offensive lineman Sidney Rouleau. That marks Michigan's third commitment over the past week.

As a whole, we all need to enjoy the state of Michigan Athletics. The University of Michigan is competing for multiple championships, which is exactly how it should be.
