Naz Hillmon is one of the greatest women's basketball players in the history of the Michigan Wolverines, and now, she's making a name for herself in the WNBA.

Hillmon still plays for the Atlanta Dream, the team that drafted her back in 2022. In college, Hillmon was mostly a threat in the paint for the Wolverines. But with the Dream, she has completely re-invented her game, especially this season, becoming a reliable 3-point threat.

On Wednesday night against the Dallas Wings, Hillmon capped the best game of her WNBA career (21 points, a career-high) with a game-winning 3-pointer, her fifth, another career-high, with two seconds left to give Atlanta an 88-85 road win.

Hillmon who is averaging 1.0 3-point field goals per game (32.1 percent) is scoring 7.5 points and 5.1 rebounds per game this season, along with two assists per game in 21.4 minutes per night.

Atlanta is now 16-11, which is good enough for second in the Eastern Conference. Hillmon has become a key rotation piece, and it seems like her role is only going to grow.

Michigan football fall camp is underway

The Michigan Wolverines hit the practice field for fall camp on Wednesday. Full pads won't come on until this weekend, but the Michigan football account on X still gave us a glimpse of the first full day of practice ahead of the 2025 season.

Bryce Underwood even threw a pass in the video, although he wasn't featured much, probably on purpose.

Huge gains made by five-star freshmen

Speaking of Bryce Underwood, the freshman has gained 20 pounds since arriving at U-M. He was 208 pounds during the spring. Now, the 6-foot-4 quarterback is 228 pounds.

Sherrone Moore has praised the work of Underwood. However, it's exciting to have a 6-foot-4, 228-pound quarterback who has been compared to Vince Young and Cam Newton.

Another five-star signee in the 2025 class for the Michigan Wolverines, Andrew Babalola, has also gained some impressive weight, going from 6-foot-6, 300 pounds to 315. The highest-ranked O-line recruit in program history is aiming to win the left tackle job.

The added muscle and strength certainly won't hurt.
