June is about to get very busy for Michigan head coach Kyle Whittingham. The Wolverines are about to host their biggest recruiting weekends throughout June, bringing in over 30 recruits. While some have already come and gone, the biggest weekend will come closer to the end of the month, on what Michigan calls Victor Weekend on June 19.
While Victor Weekend is by far the largest recruiting time for Michigan, the Wolverines have still been hard at work recently, hosting a few official visits here and there. One of the most recent visits came from four-star offensive tackle Niko Kampas from the London campus NFL Academy. Kampas is being looked at by other Power 4 conference teams, such as Auburn, which also recently hosted him for an official visit.
After both visits, Kampas made a social media post on his Instagram story, but it wasn't filled with photos from his time with the Tigers. Instead, Kampas posted multiple photos of his time with Michigan, even a few of him in a Wolverines uniform.

Visited both Auburn and Michigan this weekend.
By the way… love the new photo shoot with the graffiti room. First I’ve ever seen a school do that before. pic.twitter.com/1x0fiaUMOG
Niko Kampus made his official visit at the perfect time with Michigan
While Michigan's Victor Weekend will be the biggest recruiting weekend for the Wolverines, Kampas was able to get more one-on-one time with Whittingham and the rest of the coaching staff. Being the only official visitor on May 30, Kampas was able to get a more in-depth look at what Michigan had to offer him.
The 6-foot-7, 287-pound offensive tackle would be a huge addition to an already stacked Michigan 2027 recruiting class. As of right now, Michigan has just two offensive tackles committed in the 2027 recruiting class: three-star Sidney Rouleau and four-star Jakari Lispey. Kampas would be a huge addition to this class, and Whitingham needs the seize upfront with quarterback Kamden Lapoti coming in.
Auburn isn't the only team on the board for Kampas, as the international recruit will also visit Tennessee and Vanderbilt in June. There is hope that a commitment date would come shortly after those visits, as Kampas still has yet to set one.
Offensive line coach Jim Harding has been leading the charge for Kampas' commitment, even making a trip across the pond at one point to see him in action with the NFL Academy. Kampas hasn't hinted where he is leaning as of yet, but his social media post sure seems to give Michigan an idea of how he felt after his visit.
