It's always fun when a Michigan football legend starts talking about the Wolverines, and in the case of Blake Corum, fans will really enjoy what he had to say on the Rich Eisen Show.

The former Michigan running back, who helped lead the Wolverines to a national championship in 2023, as well as three Big Ten titles, and three straight wins over Ohio State, predicted that the 2025 season will be another success for U-M, especially during "The Game."

“I think it’s going to be a good year for my Wolverines,” Corum said. “We’re going for number five this year, Rich.”

Bryce Underwood has an "aura"

One of the reasons Corum is optimistic about Michigan football in 2025 is five-star quarterback Bryce Underwood. Corum said that Underwood has an "aura" around him. He also praised the freshman who is expected to be the starting quarterback even further.

"He should still be in high school, but he was out there making throws,” Corum said. “He’s big, he’s strong, he’s fast, and he’s smart. I assume he’s going to be the starter.”

Corum didn't exactly predict the win but it was pretty clear what he meant when Eisen asked the question. Michigan has won four games in a row over the Buckeyes, which includes last season's 13-10 upset.

This time around, both teams will have first-time starters at quarterback. Ohio State is the defending national champion. The Buckeyes also return Jeremiah Smith and Caleb Downs, maybe the two best non-quarterbacks in college football.

So it won't be easy. However, with an elite defense, and a potential superstar at quarterback, it's not crazy to think Michigan's win streak over Ohio State could continue.
