Michigan has been high on four-star offensive lineman Lincoln Mageo, a California native who has shown mutual interest in the Wolverines. Mageo made an official visit to Ann Arbor back in early June, but has yet to make his commitment between Michigan, Utah, Arizona, and Washington.

Mageo has received a Crystal Ball prediction from 247Sports Michigan beat writer Brice Marich, and it feels like this is Michigan's race to lose. Mageo was supposed to have an official visit to Washington the weekend of June 19, but he ended up cancelling it after his visit to Michigan.

Mageo is set to announce his commitment on July 11, giving him plenty of time to make his decision, which at this point feels pretty obvious. However, if Mageo does select the Wolverines, that could open the door for another Michigan commitment later down the line with his brother, Landon Mageo.

Linebacker-tight end hybrid recruit Landon Mageo could be another great two-way player for Michgian

Now, Lincoln's brother Landon still has a ways to go before he truly starts digging into his recruitment. Landon is only just starting high school in the fall as a member of the Class of 2030, so head coach Kyle Whittingham probably isn't looking at his game too closely right now, but Landon could choose to follow his older brother wherever he goes to college.

Landon posted a family photo at Michigan back after his brother Lincoln's official visit with the caption '#GoBlue,' which could simply be for his brother, but he shouldn't be counted out as a potential recruit.

Lincoln would come to Michigan as an offensive lineman if he truly does commit to Michigan in a little over a week, but his brother brings a different set of skills to the table. Right now, Landon plays a hybrid game as a linebacker and tight end. Granted, that could change as he goes into high school ball, but if it doesn't, he could be a two-way player, something Michigan is very familiar with.

The most famous two-way player Michigan has ever had was Charles Woodson, who will actually see his son, Charles Woodson Jr., don the Maize and Blue uniform next year. Woodson was a shutdown cornerback who was also able to make impressive plays on the offensive ball as well in both the receiving and run game. Woodson won the Heisman Trophy primarily for his play defensively.

So, if Landon were to continue to be a two-way player through high school and into college, and does end up choosing the Wolverines, as is predicted his older brother will, the Wolverines would be very familiar with that.
