As the Michigan Wolverines have continued to climb back to the top of the Big Ten rankings, a few of their conference opponents have fallen (quite drastically) down the standings.

One of the teams near the bottom of the barrel is the Wisconsin Badgers, who currently possess a commitment from three-star linebacker Aden Reeder, an Ohio native.

Now, the Wolverines and head coach Sherrone Moore are looking to use their status in the powerhouse conference to poach players like Reeder from programs like Wisconsin.

Earlier this week, Reeder shared that he would take an official visit to Ann Arbor to see everything that Michigan and Moore have to offer, his first trip to see the Wolverines throughout his recruitment process.

Who is Aden Reeder?

Reeder is a three-star linebacker from Cincinnati, OH, who is currently ranked as the No. 43 LB in the class of 2026 and the No. 28 prospect out of the state.

Currently, he is part of Wisconsin's upcoming class of recruits, which ranks 37th in the nation and 12th in the Big Ten. In Ann Arbor, the Wolverines currently possess the No. 10 class of 2026 in the country, landing them at fourth in the conference.

Reeder plans to visit Michigan over the upcoming weekend, when the Wolverines host the Purdue Boilermakers. Just a few weeks ago, Moore and his team beat up on the Badgers, securing a 24-10 win over the team Reeder is committed to... for now.

According to On3 and Rivals, Reeder will most likely end up with the Badgers, as Wisconsin has a 41.6 percent chance to cement his commitment.

However, the recruiting site surprisingly gives the Iowa Hawkeyes (yet another Big Ten program) a 36.4 percent chance to flip his commitment, followed by none other than the Michigan State Spartans with an 11.1 percent chance.

For now, all that Moore and the Wolverines can do is simply show the young linebacker what it means to be a part of a program that is consistently within the top 25 and is only a couple of years removed from winning a National Championship.

No. 21 Michigan and Purdue are scheduled to kick off at 7 p.m. ET on Saturday, Nov. 1, and the game will be aired on the Big Ten Network.
