Dylan Raiola does damage, too
When thinking about this game, it's hard not to think about the 2021 game. A back-and-forth affair. That's what Saturday could turn into with two dynamic quarterbacks.
Both defenses have question marks. Neither has been that effective at hitting the quarterback. Nebraska didn't sack or even hit Cincinnati quarterback Brenden Sorsby in Week 1. They did pressure him a few times, but didn't register a single hit.
Michigan's pass rush hasn't been that much better. It wasn't good enough against Oklahoma. The Wolverines do have seven sacks, two of which came from Jaishawn Barham last week.
Barham should improve the pass rush. He might even have a sack this week, but if Raiola gets time to throw, and it feels like he will based on the first three games, he will shred the Wolverines' secondary, even with Rod Moore back.
Raiola has first-round pick potential. The wide receivers are legit, too, and Raiola will throw for 300 yards on Saturday, which as we know, doesn't guarantee a win over Michigan.
