Michigan football vs. Bowling Green: Prediction, Odds, Spread and Over/Under for College Football Week 3
Michigan football takes on Bowling Green on Saturday night and here’s a look at the odds, how to watch, as well as our prediction.
In the first two weeks of the season, Michigan football has been nothing short of flawless in victories over East Carolina and UNLV.
The Wolverines allowed just 10 points in the first two games while scoring a combined 65. J.J. McCarthy is leading the FBS in completion percentage. He also has five touchdowns and zero interceptions. Michigan football also hasn’t allowed a sack.
The running game hasn’t met expectations yet, but I’m not worried. Things will get fine-tuned soon enough and I thought things were improved last week.
Up next for Michigan is Bowling Green (1-1). The Falcons lost to Liberty in the first week of the season, 34-24, but followed that up with a win over Eastern Illinois 38-28 last week.
The Wolverines are a heavy favorite again, and here are the odds, spread, and how to watch Michigan football vs. Bowling Green.
Michigan football vs. Bowling Green odds
According to DraftKings, Michigan is a 40.5-point favorite against Bowling Green. There isn’t a money line for the third straight game. The over/under is 53.5.

Michgan football vs. Bowling Green Players to watch
Michigan
For the Wolverines, it’s going to be the defense. Can Michigan match its sack total of five from last week and can the Wolverines get some turnovers?
Will Johnson and Rod Moore haven’t played much. Neither has Makari Paige, so it will be interesting to see if all of those guys are out on the field on Saturday.
Michigan has fallen just short of a shutout the past two weeks. We’ll see if they can get one on Saturday.
Bowling Green
Connor Bazelak is a name Michigan fans should know. He played for Indiana last season and had 13 touchdown passes in 10 games.
So far this season, Bazelak, the former Missour starter also, has three touchdown passes and three interceptions. He will need to have one of his best days if the Falcons are going to be competitive.
Running back Taron Keith is another name to know. He’s got 70 yards rushing and is averaging 10 yards per attempt, as well as 120 receiving yards and an average of 20 yards per reception.
Michigan vs. Bowling Green prediction
It’s hard to see the Falcons making this one competitive. Bowling Green was 6-7 last season and did make a bowl game, plus they have added a former Power-5 quarterback, which is a recipe for another postseason berth.
But the Falcons just don’t have the horses to win this game. McCarthy will be stellar again, but I’m guessing the running game gets going. Bowling Green is allowing over four yards per rush through two games and I believe the offense finally gets over 200 yards on the ground.
Michigan wins it, but doesn’t cover the spread thanks to a 41-3 win.
