Michigan Wolverines news: More expert projections for Michigan Football, Duncan Robinson to NBA finals, and more
Michigan football recruiting continues to build positive momentum, plus former Michigan Wolverines standout Duncan Robinson is back in the NBA Finals.
Now that the calendar is about to flip to June, it should be a big month for Michigan football recruiting as the Wolverines are trending toward a commitment with a number of top targets.
One of those is top-100 linebacker, Aaron Chiles. He’s one of the top overall targets for Michigan football in the 2024 class and reminds me a lot of Junior Colson.
Chiles recently put out a top three: Michigan football, Maryland, and Florida. He’s excepted to visit all three programs this month, but the Wolverines are trending as the favorite and got another projection from one of Rivals’ top experts Adam Friedman on Monday.
I know some people don’t put as much stock in Rivals as in the other recruiting sites. However, Friedman was the first recruiting expert to predict Jadyn Davis to Michigan football and he was right about that.
The top analyst for Rivals also joined the slew of experts from 247 Sports and On3 that have predicted Owen Wafle to wind up at Michigan after decommitting from Notre Dame last week.
A Michigan Wolverines alum is back in the NBA Finals
For the third time in four years, a former Michigan Wolverines basketball player wil be playing in the NBA Finals.
Duncan Robinson played his part well for the Heat during the series, making 46 percent of his 3-point attempts and averaging 11.8 points per game and 2.6 assists in 18.7 minutes.
Robinson scored in double figures in five of the seven wins, including a 10-point effort on Monday night that included a 3-pointer in the fourth quarter and another bucket late.
