A roster correction

It’s been clear the last two seasons that Michigan basketball needed more guards. It’s one reason why the team struggled to close out games this past season.

At the end of the day, guards still rule the day in March because when it comes down to it, there is no replacement for ball-handling, shooting, passing, and creating.

Taking two guards shows me that Juwan Howard understands that. Heck, I think the transfer portal additions reflect a more guard-heavy lineup.

If Brooks has position versatility, it will make it easier for both guys to play at the same time, but it was smart to invest more in the backcourt.
