Wide receiver

Michigan football lost a disciplined route-runner in senior Ronnie Bell, but they still return a ton of talent and hope to have a couple of sophomores step up in his absence. Leading receiver Cornelius Johnson hauled in 32 receptions for 499 yards to go along with 6 touchdowns a season ago.

The 6’3’’ receiver broke out for four receptions with 160 yards and two touchdowns against Ohio State and figures to be a focal point of the offense. The Wolverines also return senior speedster Roman Wilson, who racked up four touchdown catches last year and 15 yards per catch.

Wilson will be more involved in the downfield passing attack in 2023. The coaching staff is also excited about Darrius Clemons. The 6’4’’ Portland, Oregon native has the size to be an impact player and a feature of the offense.

Tyler Morris was a highly-touted 4-star recruit out of Bolingbrook, Illinois, and has gotten positive reviews from Coach Harbaugh. With all of that talent Michigan’s pass catchers should be much more dynamic and explosive in 2023.
