It’s gameday for the 2022 Fiesta Bowl. Michigan football will take on TCU for a spot in the national title game. Here is how to watch and a betting preview.

The wait for the 2022 Fiesta Bowl is nearly over. Michigan football was last on the field four weeks ago against Purdue in the Big Ten title game.

TCU also played four weeks ago in a loss in the Big 12 championship game to Kansas State. Yet, the Horned Frogs are going to be a huge challenge for Michigan football and are led by Heisman Trophy runner-up Max Duggan.

However, Kendre Miller, Quentin Johnston, and others help make up a very talented roster and one that’s filled with speed. We have been talking about all the matchups for weeks and soon, it will be time to play the game.

Here’s a final betting preview, injury report, and how to watch Michigan football vs TCU in the 2022 Fiesta Bowl.

Michigan Football vs TCU Injury report

Outside of Blake Corum, who is going to miss the game after having surgery earlier this month, Michigan football is relatively healthy.

Donovan Edwards was spotted at practice this week with a smaller cast and catching the football with confidence which is important.

Mike Morris also told reporters he felt about 95 percent going into this matchup and getting the top pass rusher back is also a big deal for U-M, especially since pass protection isn’t necessarily a strong suit of the Horned Frogs.

Andrel Anthony and A.J. Henning missed some practice time earlier in the week but were seen on the field Thursday and Friday, so that’s a positive sign at least.

Michigan Football vs TCU betting preview

The Wolverines are a 7.5-point favorite according to FanDuel heading into this matchup. The over/under is 57.5 points and the money line is -320 for Michigan and +255 for TCU.

I have confidence that Michigan football will deliver. I think that all things considered, the Wolverines are just better in the trenches and that will make the difference.

It’s going to be close though. TCU has some really talented football players and they are tough. Max Duggan isn’t going to fold. I really believe this will be a one-score game most of the way but that Michigan’s defense will get a key turnover late and win by 10.

I have gone back and forth a little on the point total, but at the end of the day, I’d put my money on the over. I’m seeing 34-24 Michigan.
