1. About four different Wolverines could have won game MVP

Donovan Edwards officially got the nod as the candidate to win the award. To say he’s been on fire is an understatement. 400-plus yards in the two biggest wins of the year with one healthy hand is impressive. He’s making people forget about Blake Corum and that is definitely not an easy thing to do.

J.J. McCarthy made enough plays to be considered as a recipient as well. He’s got six touchdown passes in two weeks, compared to one turnover. He tried to do a little too much on that interception, which turned out to be the only blemish on his stat line Saturday night. He’s peeking at the perfect time.

On defense, Will Johnson came up with two picks at the most opportune time for the unit. The highly coveted youngster is gaining confidence every week. Jaylen Harrell sacked Aidan O’Connell twice stating his case for defensive MVP himself. He filled in for Mike Morris and made his name known, who did not suit up in the victory.
