Donovan Edwards runs for a touchdown and catches a touchdown
As hard as it will be for Nebraska to stop Corum — the bigger matchup issue for the Huskers might be Donovan Edwards.
He sparked the offense in the second half against Rutgers as a wide receiver and whether it’s a safety, linebacker, or even a corner, I don’t think Nebraska has anyone that can cover Edwards.
Not only is he going to get over 100 yards rushing, I also think Edwards will catch a few passes for about 50 yards and a touchdown. Hell, he could probably go off for 170 yards receiving as he did against Maryland last year.
His combination of speed, route-running, and hands is hard to teach for a running back. He really could play wide receiver for just about anyone in the Big Ten and I think the Huskers will have nightmares about Edwards after he torches them on Saturday.
