Can Michigan stay composed and not let emotions dictate the game?

Listen, Michigan football is favored by over three touchdowns for a reason. They are clearly the better team top-to-bottom.

Michigan fans know this. Sparty fans even know this. But this game is their Super Bowl, they hate Michigan, so they will play inspired ball, and will give Michigan everything they have.

That will include a lot of dirty play after the whistle has been blown. It will be important for Michigan to keep its composure when Michigan State tries to instigate a situation.

There’s nothing like having a promising drive fizzle out or keeping a Sparty drive alive because of one dumb unsportsmanlike conduct, unnecessary roughness, or roughing the passer penalty.

Bottom line: No matter what Michigan State does or says, let them commit the penalties and shoot themselves in the foot.

Michigan is the big brother. They should be leading by example. Be the bigger program. Teach Little Brother how to stay composed and not let their emotions turn into 15-yard penalties.

Overall, I expect Michigan State to kind of stay in the game, at least for the half. I think Michigan will do like they have done the last three-four games, which is really put it on the opponent in the second half.

I think this will be a big Andrel Anthony game (like seriously this time) just like last year, and I expect Michigan to go more pass-heavy.

I could see JJ flirt with a 400-yard passing game in this one. Multiple passing touchdowns. Cade almost got to 400 passing yards last year.

Hopefully, Nikhai Hill-Green is back for this one. Michigan could use his presence to cover the middle of the field and take away the tight end.

I hope Harbaugh runs up the score. Don’t be surprised if the camera cuts to Mel Tucker on the sideline multiple times throughout the game, and he is drenched in sweat before halftime.  That’s one of the funniest things about that guy.

Should be a good game (at least for a little while). As always, I will be nervous until the clock hits zero. Go Blue! #TuckLeavin
