Michigan Football vs Penn State: Injury report, live Stream, TV channel and betting preview
Here’s all the key info for Michigan football vs Penn State, such as the injury report, TV channel, live stream, and a breakdown of the odds.
This is one of the games that Michigan football fans have been waiting for and while it’s a noon kickoff, the atmosphere is going to be wild.
It’s not going to be as loud as what we saw against Ohio State last November, but it will be close. Today is the Maize Out game and Penn State isn’t quite Michigan State or the Buckeyes, however, it’s a big rivalry still and both teams are undefeated and in the top 10.
We have been breaking it down all week here at GBMWolverine, and we’ve got predictions, keys, questions with a Penn State expert, and what you need to know about the Nittany Lions.
Here’s everything else you need to know for Michigan football vs Penn State.
Michigan Football vs Penn State Injury report
The biggest name to wonder about is wide receiver Roman Wilson. He left the Indiana game last week and Clayton Safie of The Wolverine wrote this morning that he would call him”probable.”
Karsen Barnhart should be starting at right tackle against Penn State with Trente Jones out due to injury. I feel good about Barnhart who Jim Harbaugh has basically called a sixth starter. It also sounds like Cade McNamara won’t be back at least until after the bye week.
Michigan Football vs Penn State betting preview, best bet
Right now, the line according to Fan Duel still has Michigan football as a 6.5-point favorite. However, the number I like a little more than that is the over/under.
Michigan football hasn’t covered quite as much as it did last season. It was close last week but needed another field goal. Michigan also didn’t cover against Maryland or Hawaii, so the Wolverines are just 3-3 against the spread, although two of the games were near misses.
I’d feel confident betting on Michigan football with the spread and I predicted them to win 27-17, but I think the defenses are going to play well. Jim Harbaugh and the Wolverines are going to run a lot and I think it will mirror last year’s game in terms of point total — somewhere around the 40s.
So with the over/under set at 52.5, the under is my best bet for Michigan football and Penn State.
