Who will fill the gaping hole left by Hassan Haskins?

It’s no secret that Hassan Haskins was the heart and soul of Michigan’s offense last year. He was the engine that moved the car. So in the couple of games that Michigan struggled last year (against MSU and Georgia), a big reason for that was Hassan Haskins struggled.

Now that he is gone though, his spot is up for grabs as the bruising power back. The competition is between Donovan Edwards, CJ Stokes, and Kalel Mullings. The question is: who will earn the spot?

Nobody expects any of the backups to be able to replicate Hassan Haskins output, as he carried the ball a lot last season, but Michigan football does need someone or a few guys to step up and take the load off of Corum and Edwards and be able to pick up those first downs in short yardage and goal-line situations.

That will be one of the biggest things to watch as the season goes on.
