More of an interior defender

Right now, Bahr is listed as a defensive end, but I think it’s more fitting to call him a defensive lineman. His most recent highlights from 247 sports listed him as 250 pounds. If he’s now 270 pounds, it’s safe to bet that he’d be better off on the interior.

One thing you’ll notice about Bahr is that he does a great job holding up against offensive lineman and against double teams. He looks like a capable interior rusher and while he had some moves on the edge, I don’t know if he’s got the quickness to play on the edge, at least all the time.

Bahr does a great job of setting the edge. He plays with great leverage both on the outside and when he’s playing as three or five-technique.

Mike Morris is getting talked about a lot this offseason as a guy that’s ready for a breakout campaign and one of the things he did best last season was stuff the run.

Bahr can do that too and it’s not like Aidan Hutchinson didn’t improve his quickness during his career at Michigan so Bahr can too. But he’s huge and still a year away from being on the roster, so when that time rolls around, it wouldn’t be shocking if he was in the 280-290 range.
